Allison & Gavin had a breathtaking Colorado Wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in June 2019.
These two were sure to incorporate some very Colorado moments on their wedding day. They chose to do their first look and a few more photo-perfect moments at Red Rocks Amphitheater, a memorable Colorado landmark. They proceeded to their wedding venue, Blackstone Rivers Ranch, a unique, boutique wedding venue nestled into the Rocky Mountains.
With great design help from the planning and florist team at Something Styled Events, the couple brought together their color scheme with touches of nature through amazing arrangements on the chuppah and in personal flowers. On two corners of the chuppah, there were large, over-grown arrangements filled with loads of green steams and subtlety colored flowers that brought out the neutral tones of the ceremony site.
The personal flowers held by the bride and her maids' bouquets mimicked the arrangements on the chuppah. They did not contain as many springs of green but the flowers were still muted in color with the occasional pop of blush. Not to mention the subtle touch of succulents. These bouquets were reminiscent of Colorado with their subtle colorfulness but breathtaking natural beauty.
The touches of flush even came through in Allison's dress. She wore an A-line wedding gown with large, ivory floral appliqués atop blush tulle. Her bridesmaids matched in the same color of blush in different styles of gowns. Gavin wore a sky blue suit with a white tie while his groomsmen wore navy suits with blush ties all coming together for the common goal of subtleness.
This couple and their guests emulated the beauty of this great of Colorado. Thank you, Allison and Gavin, for sharing your day with us. And thank you to all the vendors who made this wedding day possible.
