Bag Pipe Vibes

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

It’s not every day we have bag pipes up at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, but we love it when we do!

When your father is Scottish, you bring in some grade-a instrumentalists. That was exactly the case of Stephanie and Dustin who got married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in July 2018. Stephanie’s father donned his family’s tartan and walked her down the aisle, succeeded by a singular bag pipe player.

While bag pipes are a rather outspoken instrument, the rest of this wedding gleamed with understated elegance. The couple used very simple greenery with touches of blush florals. They also had their bridesmaids in a similar blush color. The groomsmen wore grey slacks, white button ups and blush paisley ties. The groomsmen’s lack of jackets rolled right into the comfortable vibe Stephanie and Dustin were going for.

Besides the understated yet gorgeous vibe, these two seemed to really have fun with their photos. As you’ll see below, Stephanie and Dustin put a lot of thought into these pictures. Stephanie and her maids were decked out both before getting into their dresses and after. The whole group can be seen wearing plaid shirts with their role in the wedding written on the back. The boys played around with the photographer after dressing to the nines. They did the classic jump shot, but they also took a picture where Dustin threw a “force field” knocking his groomsmen away.

These two celebrated their love with the help of friends and family. We were so honored to be a part of that. Thank you, Stephanie and Dustin.
