Creativity was bursting at the seams with this couple.
Casey and Andrew got married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch on August 10th, 2019. Let’s just start by telling you these two have creativity to share.
Casey is the owner of La Rue Floral and she and her team brought the creative heat to this wedding. Casey personally designed the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres for the bridal party. In the feature on MarthaStewartWeddings.com Casey said that she found it relaxing to build the personal flowers the morning of her wedding.
The La Rue Floral team brought together a uniquely creative floral design for the ceremony and reception space here at the Ranch. Behind our ceremony site, where two enormous evergreen trees stand, the team built a curving floral display that crawled up one of the trunks.
Beyond the ceremony site, the tent was decorated with elaborate florals as well. Casey and Andrew dreamed of making the lush surrounds of Blackstone pop. They made it shine with the green vinery that hung in our sailcloth tent from pole to pole. The tall floral arrangements made quite the statement as well. By having a mixture of tall and short centerpieces this wedding blossomed with creative texture.
The creative elements do not end at the sensational flowers. They go beyond into creativity with an escort card display that was made up of a spectrum of blue to lavender envelopes. These envelopes contained a “lift ticket” which was the escort card. The table numbers were replaced with the ski resorts that the couple love.
