Elaborate Event Design
Updated: Apr 5
There is something to be said about elaborate event design.
Having a dedicated design team for your wedding is the best way to achieve an event like the one featured in this blog post. Mallory and Chris hired Something Styled as both the planner for their wedding, as well as the florist. The Something Styled team has a lot of experience working with our team at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. We have a required list of wedding planners for our couples to choose from and Something Styled is one of the amazing planners on this list.
This astonishing event would not be quite so awe-inspiring without the flowers. Mallory and Chris decided on going with bright summer hues for the flowers featured on their wedding day. Mallory's horizontal bouquet was made of bright roses of varying colors and other pink flowers. This bouquet was striking against Mallory's vintage-looking lace gown.
But the flowers were more than those carried by Mallory and her bridesmaids. The Something Styled team made two large vase arrangements that sat at the base of the ceremony arbor. This wooden arbor was also decorated with even more elaborate florals. And we haven't even gotten to the beautiful flowers that Something Styled used to decorate the reception space!
While flowers were a major part of this event design there is also so much more. The couple, along with Something Styled, chose gold touches, black table cloths, and red napkins to make a stark contrast against the lush greenery outside of our sailcloth tent.
This team brought the heat to bring together this astounding event design. You can tell how happy Mallory and Chris were with their wedding by looking at their beaming smiles in the photos below.
Thank you, Something Styled, for this incredible event and thank you, Lindy Hickman, for capturing the beauty of this event.
