May Showers

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

May showers bring STUNNING wedding photos.

For today’s blog post we are talking about snow showers. Snow showers in the Rocky Mountains. They really do make for some incredible photos, with thanks to TrevGStudios.

Rachel and Andrew got married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch on May 23rd, 2019. And it was a stunning day that we at Blackstone will remember forever. They celebrated with a little over a hundred guests. They had a fun day filled with loved ones, smiles, and a dusting of snow.

With the help of Sweet Pea Designs, the florals of this event were breathtaking. Rachel’s bouquet was made up of lush greens, white garden roses, white anemones, blue thistles, and light blue delphinium. This bouquet was wrapped with a burlap wrap with a piece of lace over it. This incredible arrangement gleamed against the white snow. The bridesmaids’ bouquets complimented Rachel’s bouquet. Their bouquets did not include any of the white flowers that Rachel’s featured, allowing for her bouquet to pop. Sweet Pea Designs designed an exquisite circular arbor for the couple to stand before while saying their vows

The total bridal party was made up of fourteen individuals including Rachel and Andrew. Andrew wore a gunmetal three-piece suit and a matching bowtie. His groomsmen wore light gray suits with sky blue ties. Rachel’s ivory A-line gown featured a scalloped neckline, eyelash lace with a tulle skirt. Her maids wore sky blue convertible dresses that they tied in different ways.

Rachel and Andrew look at each other in a way that makes our hearts skip a beat. In their portraits taken together, they seemed so happy. And Rachel seemed so cozy in her faux fur shrug. Even though it snowed on their wedding day, the couple was delighted and kept each other warm through hugs and smiles.

Thank you, Rachel and Andrew, for sharing your love with us. And thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this breathtaking wedding happen!
