COMFORT IS IMPORTANT ON YOUR BIG DAY! HOW TO COVER THOSE TOES?

Updated: May 15, 2019

Your wedding day will make you feel as if you were walking on Cloud Nine – and while you surely want to be truly elegant, it is also important to keep your feet on the ground and choose a pair of shoes that makes you feel stunningly…comfortable.

How to do that? How to strike the perfect balance between style and ease of wear when choosing your bridal footwear? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

· Be amazing. Yes, step out of the traditional boundaries and pick a pair of shoes that makes you feel no less than glamorous. Choose a pair of shoes that complements your wedding style and your personality. Make a statement. Go beyond the “average” rules of fashion and think of shoes that speak about who you are. If needed, consider having your shoes dyed in your special wedding colors – or, for that matter, in any other color you really love.

· Be smart. Yes, your shoes have to be fabulous. But remember that you will actually have to wear them – and for one or two hours, but for the entire wedding day. They have to be comfortable, they have to suit your venue (no stilettoes on outdoor weddings and historical venues!), and they have to be wearable.

· Be prepared. Your shoes will come with you at your last wedding gown fitting appointment, so be sure to have them completely purchased by then. Furthermore, remember to actually break in your shoes and not leave this for the last day. The more you wear them around the house, the more they will “imitate” your feet. Plus, this gives you a good chance to work on that glamorous-but-whimsical walk down the aisle!
