Let me introduce myself:
My name is Natalie. I recently graduated from college in Illinois (yes, I am an Illinois native) and have been given the great privilege of being hired on at Blackstone Rivers Ranch as the new intern here in Idaho Springs, Colorado! One of my various jobs is to blog about my summer here at the ranch: what I find and how things are going. Hopefully, my goal is that you will get a different perspective and better insight about what it’s like to stay here!
Today was my first official day here at Blackstone Rivers Ranch and I spent most of my day exploring everywhere that I could! Today’s weather was beyond gorgeous! Spring has officially arrived at the ranch and it could not be more satisfying! I spent my day at the creek, listening to the sound of rushing and bubbling water. The birds were chirping, flowers are blooming, and the air was crisp; as only fresh, mountain air can be!
After listening in on a tour for a potential bride and groom earlier that morning, and sitting by the creek for what seemed like not enough time, I could only imagine what a flawless spring wedding would be like! Nature is happy and healthy here at the ranch, and I feel it makes for a marvelous backdrop for any special occasion! A ceremony by the creek with the undisturbed sounds of nature, looking up at the mountains, in the perfect dress, with the perfect partner, and with only the best company! With all the productivity here, it’s easy to imagine what it would be like to spend such a special day here with friends and family! I am thoroughly excited to see the kind of progress we will be making this summer!
