Bridal Portraits

Bridal portraits are one of those wedding traditions that have stood the test of time. Long before full wedding days were documented from start to finish, bridal portraits were often the only formal photographs taken. Dating back to the 19th century, when photography was more time-consuming and expensive, brides would pose in their gowns either before or after the wedding day to capture a polished, timeless image. These portraits were meant to be cherished for generations, often displayed prominently in the home.

Fast forward to today, and while wedding photography has evolved, bridal portraits still hold that same sense of significance. They offer a quiet, intentional moment for the bride to step away from the timeline and simply be in the experience. No rush, no distractions, just a chance to capture every thoughtful detail... from the dress to the veil to the overall look that was so carefully chosen.

At their core, bridal portraits are about preserving the bride in her most radiant, present moment. The focus is entirely on her - the emotion, the anticipation, the quiet confidence. There’s something incredibly meaningful about freezing that feeling in time, creating an image that reflects not just how she looked, but how she felt stepping into such a significant chapter of her life.
